So far in our Task-Based Training series, we’ve looked at various ways you can share your app as well as best practices of sharing. Our last session reviewed how critical it is to build value into your app and communicate the value when you share. Similarly, you can add value to your app by finding ways to integrate the sales process with your app.

Review Current Sales Process

First, review the resources or tools that you usually share with clients and prospects. Instead of emailing or sharing physical documents, make sure to include them in your app and drive clients to them. You can also incorporate app resources into sales or educational presentations.

An easy way to start this process is to review frequently used email attachments or file sharing links.

Collect Resources in Your App

Next, convert any physical resources into digital versions to ensure all needed resources are available. When you have all of your resources, review them for quality. Consider ways you can make your resources more helpful or engaging. Videos and infographics are easy to digest and deliver information quickly. Once everything is collected, add them to your app. Use customized buttons or in-app documents to add things like:

  • Videos
  • Graphics
  • Brochures
  • Flyers
  • Checklists
  • Applications

Adding these types of resources into your app helps drive traffic to your app. The more engaged clients are with your app, the more valuable engagement insights you gather.

Point Clients to Your App

Once you have your resources collected and built into your app, be sure to drive people there. Share your app when initially engaging with leads, and then reference it throughout the sales process. This not only emphasizes the value of your app, it also creates an enjoyable and streamlined customer experience. Additionally, it gives you key engagement metrics on how your customers are engaging with each step of your sales process.
