So far in our Task-Based Training series, we’ve looked at various ways you can share your app as well as best practices of sharing. Then, we transitioned to how to integrate the sales process with your app, create consistent branding, add custom content in your app, and create a digital experience. Now, we’re moving on to features that help salespeople save time and streamline the sales process. Things like using the information in the dashboard for strategic follow-up can help salespeople save time, be more efficient, and close more deals.

In our last two tasks, we reviewed how to manage dashboard details. Not only can salespeople refine their list of app users within the dashboard, they can export the information as well. Both of these strategies can make strategic follow-up a snap. Indeed, using the dashboard to identify engaged prospects help salespeople focus their time on the “low-hanging fruit”. A popular concept, focusing on this group creates a higher probability of success for salespeople on each follow-up call.

Using CardTapp for Strategic Follow-up

In order to find the “low-hanging fruit” who are the most likely to buy, do a little research. CardTapp automatically collects and tracks app users’ engagement with the app. The more they engage, the more likely they are to buy or move forward in the sales process. Adding tags to engaged app users is an easy way to categorize and manage them. It’s also a great way to prioritize follow-up activities.

How to Identify Interested Leads from Overall Activity

  1. Navigate to the ‘Interactions’ tab of your desktop dashboard.
  2. Click the “Activity” column header to sort by the type of interaction. (Use the dropdown menu at the top-left to review a larger number of interactions at once.)
  3. Once activity is sorted, look for leads who have accessed a resource multiple times.
  4. Click on a lead’s name to pull up their Tapper Record and add or select tags.

How to Identify Interested Leads from a Specific Activity

  1. Navigate to the ‘Interactions’ tab of your desktop dashboard.
  2. Type the desired button label (apply, products, pricing schedule etc.) into the Search bar of the ‘Interactions’ tab.
  3. Once activity is sorted, look for leads who have accessed the resource multiple times.
  4. Click on a lead’s name to pull up their Tapper Record and add or select tags.

Use Tags to Inform a Follow-up Plan

Once you have added tags to leads who are likely interested in a specific product or service, you can either download Tapper data to analyze the information in a program like Excel, or you can filter by a desired tag by typing it in the Search bar of the ‘Tappers’ tab or using the filter functionality.

Task 15: Follow-up from the Dashboard

The task for this session is to tag engaged app users or app users who have accessed specific resources. Then, filter by those tags and follow-up.
