So far in our Task-Based Training series, we’ve looked at various ways you can share your app as well as best practices of sharing. Then, we transitioned to how to integrate the sales process with your app, create consistent branding, add custom content in your app, and create a digital experience. Now, we’re moving on to features that help salespeople save time and streamline the sales process. Things like using the information in the dashboard for data analysis can help salespeople save time and refine their sales strategy.

In order to best use the information from the CardTapp platform, salespeople may want to export the information to conduct more rigorous data analysis. The better salespeople can leverage the insights in the dashboard, the more effective they are. Not only can this help save salespeople time, but it can make sales and marketing initiatives more effective.

Using CardTapp for Data Analysis

Data analysis is a key part of an effective business. Not only does data help inform strategic decisions, but it can help strengthen business partnerships as well. In our last task-based training article, we reviewed how you can sort and filter users within the dashboard, but members can export the data as well. Once information is exported from the dashboard, members can use it to:

  1. Import into other systems to analyze or create reports
  2. Compare to existing lists for updates or opportunities
  3. Share with a referral partner to add value to the relationship
  4. Track progress towards goals

Exporting dashboard detail introduces more flexibility and ways to take advantage of the engagement insights the app gathers. Members can export a list of all Tappers from the dashboard or a filtered list based on filter criteria.

Export All Tappers from the Dashboard

  1. Navigate to the ‘Tappers’ tab of your desktop dashboard.
  2. Click the “Download Tapper Data” link at the bottom of your Tapper list
  3. Select the radio button next to the “Full Tapper CSV” option
  4. Click the “Download” button

Export a Filtered List from the Dashboard

  1. Navigate to the ‘Tappers’ tab of your desktop dashboard.
  2. Filter the Tapper list as desired
  3. Click the “Download Tapper Data” link at the bottom of your Tapper list
  4. Select the radio button next to the “Filtered Tapper CSV” option
  5. Click the “Download” button

Task 14: Export Tapper Data

The task for this session is to export your tapper data. Then, consider how you could leverage this data to strengthen your sales process or save time.
